Fishing and Your Network Marketing Business….

 

If you and I went fishing……….how do you think we would catch the most fish?……….Would it be by throwing a whole bucket of bait in the water or by presenting the fish with a bait that looks like something they would see in the water every day and is a food source……..something they are used to and know by instinct will feed them.

OK……..I know….it sounds like a funny question to ask in a networking tip message………but bear with me. I will show you how this relates.

In the world of social media……most people think of social media recruiting as some sort of shortcut, “get rich quick” method of getting leads and sales. So, spamming their opportunity and products to as many people as possible………..thinking that if you reach hundreds or even thousand’s, you’ll get at least one or two sign ups.

This is the equivalent of going fishing and taking a bucket full of bait and throwing it into the lake hoping just one or two fish will jump into your boat. It just doesn’t work that way

You have to present the fish with something they are used to…….(trust), and they will then take the bait and run with it……..

The reason no one takes this “throwing it all out there” bait is because people only buy from and join those that they know, like, and trust. And people don’t generally know, like, or trust strangers who are spamming them a make money opportunity out of nowhere.

Be smart………build a rapport or relationship with them first…..then share what you have………..and then find out what problem they have and you do that by simply asking questions that cause them to tell you and then show them the solution to their problem!

When you do this………they will ask YOU for more information and will actually look at what you are offering because they asked you instead of you spamming them…….

Transparency and Realness…. honestly caring about others… helping them because you care about People and it isn’t all about the Almighty Dollar…  at the end of the day…. those that Focus more on the Impact that they have in another persons life…. rather than the Income…. are the ones that win…. and WIN BIG !!
